11/06/2015
Abu Dhabi Terminals was delighted to host its 8th Khalifa Port Container Terminal Trade Workshop on 9 June, inviting stakeholders, shipping lines, agents and trade customers to hear the latest news about Khalifa Port Container Terminal.

The workshop, held at Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, supports Abu Dhabi Terminals’ commitment to establish long-term relationships with its partners and customers to create best practices for mutual benefit. One of the goals for the workshops is to provide transparency and availability for the supply chain.

Abu Dhabi Terminals’ trade workshops are always extremely popular and widely appreciated by customers as it provides them an excellent opportunity to catch up on the latest developments at the container terminal, as well as to meet and network with industry colleagues.

As many as 175 customers and representatives of Abu Dhabi government entities participated in the event that featured presentations from Abu Dhabi Terminals, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, Industrial Development Bureau and Abu Dhabi Ports.

Commenting on the successful completion of the workshop, Simon Brebner, Chief Commercial Officer, Abu Dhabi Terminals said, “These workshops are a core activity for our business, they give us the opportunity to meet and communicate with our existing and potential customers in a relaxed environment, whilst at the same time getting feedback that our team has produced impressive results so far.

"The fact that several other Abu Dhabi government entities are willing to come and share their knowledge with attendees is priceless. The response is overwhelmingly positive and we will continue to run such events throughout 2015.”
